Who we are and what this covers

This policy covers three online services run by the same owner, Vinko Mitar:

We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising. We do not use advertising trackers.

Questions or requests about your data: vinko.mitar@gmail.com. For charter bookings you can also write to booking@thailandboattours.com.

Signing in with Google

Some of our services let you sign in with your Google account. When you do, we receive only your name, e-mail address and Google account ID. We use them to recognise you and to keep your own data together. We do not read your Gmail, your calendar, your contacts or your photos, and we do not ask for permission to.

Customers and visitors are never asked for access to Google Drive.

Administrators and agents of Thailand Boat Tours can additionally connect their own Google Drive. It is used only to store and read booking documents (such as quotations and PDF files) and database backups in a folder the administrator or agent chooses. This is not offered to customers.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we collect

Why

To prepare your quotation and contract, to run your charter, to contact you about it, and to keep records for accounting and for resolving disputes.

Who sees it

The agent or agency you booked through, the crew and operator assigned to your charter, and the site owner and administrators. We do not share it with anyone else, except service providers named below.

Service providers

On your device

The site keeps your booking choices and preferences in your browser so you can come back and continue. You can turn the optional part off in “Privacy Settings” on the site and clear it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

How long

We keep booking records for as long as needed to run the booking, to meet our accounting and legal duties, and to deal with any dispute. You can ask us to correct or delete your data at any time (see “Your rights”).

The Second Mate

The Second Mate has its own detailed notice that is always the most current: thesecondmate.com/privacy. In short:

The custom painted shoe shop

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 or the EU General Data Protection Regulation) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, and withdraw consent you have given. Write to vinko.mitar@gmail.com and we will answer. If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country — in Thailand the Personal Data Protection Committee, in Croatia the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Your data is processed by Google and the other providers named above on servers that may be outside your country.

Children

Our services are not directed at children. Bookings are made by adults, who may list children as passengers.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes too. Significant changes are shown on the sites concerned.
